About Syntal Products

Our Story

Established in 1995, Syntal's mixed plastic waste recycling and processing facility is the first plant designed and commissioned by Industrial Recycling Systems Corp. the exclusive distributor for Julien Environmental Technology s.a., a world leader in commingled thermoplastics recycling technology.

Exclusive use of the J.E.T. proprietary system allows Syntal to process and recycle a mixture of most of commingled plastics from both municipal and industrial waste. This unique capability and high efficiency of the system make it possible for Altwood to be the best value 100% synthetic lumber in North America today.

Syntal supplies ALTWOOD® synthetic lumber through a network of reputable retail distributors. The company will be appointing additional qualified dealers in various areas to further customer convenience.

Syntal is maintaining an active public plastics recycling program at its facility. Individuals and organizations are encouraged to drop off their recyclable plastic in the bins at the entrance to Syntal's property, available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

We meet on common ground with common goals - together we can make a difference in our environment. One that will reduce solid waste and contaminants entering our ground and water, while providing you with a superior outdoor building material, and us with a commercially viable venture. Thank you for joining Syntal Products (Victoria) Ltd. in a commitment to build a better tomorrow by recycling plastic waste into an environmentally sound and advantages product - ALTWOOD® synthetic lumber.
