About Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co.

Our Story

Discover Rocky Mountain Flatbread. A restaurant where the “carbon footprint” of every meal = 0.

At Rocky Mountain Flatbread we serve delicious house made dishes: handcrafted flatbread pizzas, daily pastas, seasonal salads and soups, desserts “to live for” and a wide selection of BC wines and local beers.

We take the challenge of “leading the change” very seriously & over the last seven years we have continually asked ourselves two
questions: “What simple things can we do to reduce our carbon footprint to help protect the environment and sustain natural resources for current and future generations?” and “How can we positively contribute and celebrate community?”

Through asking these questions we have been able to implement simple solutions including: creating a zero waste integrated menu; composting; using local produce; buying green electricity; using biodegradable take home containers; appointing local heroes; teaching life skills in local schools to grow your own food, create healthy snacks & create responsible businesses;  fundraising for local schools and clubs. We were also founding members of Ocean Wise, Green Tables and The Natural Step.

In 2009, the Better Business Bureau awarded us the “Best Green Business” in Vancouver.
