About Limelight Event Marketing

Our Story

In 2005, Lorien Henson founded LimeLight, a sustainable event management and experiential marketing company. The vision for LimeLight is to produce stylish green events, promote awareness of sustainability and social causes with a responsibility to ensure sustainable event management.

Beyond Birkenstocks sandals with socks

LimeLight came about after Lorien spent 9 years working in the traditional resource gulping and garbage producing event industry and finally could no longer accept leaving her conscious on the work doorstep. Lorien was motivated to change the way the event industry does business and help promote sustainability beyond the granola trademark for tree huggers and the Birkenstocks sandals with socks crowd.

Live events can demonstrate sustainability in action, inspire change and motivate participants and audience to live more sustainably.
