About Junxion Strategy

Our Story

Junxion Strategy is a full-service sustainability consulting firm focused on the human dimension: what people need to know, how they think and why they change.

The Insight Group was founded in 1996 by David Kuefler and Peter ter Weeme. From the beginning, the two principals chose projects that aligned with their social and environmental values. Over time, the company grew to serve a wide range of clients.

By 2006, Insight was consistently sought after for strategic counsel beyond core marketing and communications programs, leading it to re-evaluate its service mix.

With an increasing global awakening to the need for and potential of sustainability, an important set of requirements emerged: people with excellent communications and marketing backgrounds, experience in social and environmental issues and business strategies, and a passion for constructively balancing the needs of business, community, and the environment.

As environmental and social pressures increase around the world, the principals have focused on strategic approaches to help people, companies and governments adapt to climate change, resource depletion and social inequities.

Into this niche, Junxion Strategy was born.
