About Hip Baby

Our Story

Our story began seven years ago with Twice Shy. it was our vision to create a clothing company that at once appealed to our aesthetic, environmental and social ideals. Twice Shy led to Fig, our organic clothing division for children, which then, with the help and advise of a growing network of business friends, evolved into the retail operation now known as Hip Baby. Our intention is to offer our customers at both our locations (Vancouver and Victoria) a consistent experience, the best products and great service while remaining loyal to a sustainability mandate that began seven years ago with the conception of Twice Shy.

We know first hand how challenging it can be to walk the line between sustainability, value, function and style. And it is within that challenge we often find the source of our inspiration.
