Utilizing waste as a resource integrates cooperation into our consumption focussed society. As founding members of the Strathcona Business Improvement Association Green Zone and Strathcona Materials Exchange we developed a partnership with Marine Printers, a local print shop in our neighbourhood, taking their waste paper offcuts and using them as packaging material in our corporate gift baskets.
It's a win win, not only saving businesses money but also building relationships while reducing environmental impact.
