Who We Are

In December, 2008, owner Nicole Ritchie-Oseen opened body politic in Vancouver’s vibrant South Main district. The welcoming boutique was quickly embraced, becoming a popular destination, and dispelled completely the notion of eco-fashion as a combination of shapeless silhouettes and uninspiring fabrics.

Nicole stands by the motto of body politic, “sustainable design - limitless style,” as she continues to support the talented designers who have been ahead of the fashion curve in creating beautiful, interesting, and sustainable collections.
