Based in Vancouver, Canada, Peter ter Weeme is a 16-year veteran of the sustainability movement with expertise in sustainability issues, business strategy, and green marketing and communications. His experience spans the world of corporate, government and non-profit clients across North America. He has founded and grown two successful consultancies, including Junxion Strategy (www.junxionstrategy.com), and led the marketing and communications at Mountain Equipment Co-op (www.mec.ca), Canada's national retail leader in social and environmental responsibility. A recipient of Business in Vancouver’s “40 under 40″ award, Peter is an active member of various progressive business and community initiatives. He serves on the Board of the Vancity Community Foundation and is the previous chair of Canadian Business for Social Responsibility. He is advisor to SPUD, North America’s largest organic home delivery service, Good Energy, a sustainability behaviour change software and strategy company, and SoleGear, an innovative bioplastics company. Peter is a frequent public speaker and a regular contributor to several publications and sustainability blogs, including Sustainable Life Media, Vancouver Observer and World Changing.
