I've spent most of my adult life doing what I can to convince individuals, governments and corporations to do the Right Thing only to watch the vast majority make choices that are bad for people and the environment because those choices are, in the end, cheaper. When Annalea approached me about working on this project, I saw it as an opportunity to reward organisations for doing the Right Thing for a change. If ten years of being an activist has taught me anything, it's that the world will only change for the better when that change is profitable. I hope this site will give organisations a way to promote the Good they're doing in the world, and thereby see their own companies flourish.
